The Spotlight program is a 13-week musical preparation course where students are emerged into the process of putting on a musical. Step into the magical world of CATS JR., where music, movement, and mystery come together in one of the most iconic musicals of all time — specially adapted for young performers! In this exciting musical theatre program, students will sing, dance, and act their way through the whimsical world of the Jellicle Cats, bringing beloved characters like Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, and Grizabella to life on stage. Perfect for performers who love to move, express themselves, and dive into imaginative storytelling, this program is full of energy, creativity, and unforgettable fun!
Taught by working professional actors, singers and dancers students will learn the ins and outs of the performance industry including acting, singing and dancing. As this program is about building on the skillsets of the students, costumes and sets are not a part of the final production.
