Experience what it’s like to be in a musical this summer!
The Summer Spotlight Program is a fun and immersive 3-week theatre camp where students are fully engaged in the process of putting on a musical—from auditions and rehearsals to a live performance. This summer, students will be performing Pure Imagination, a Broadway Junior revue celebrating some of the most loved shows in musical theatre.
Pure Imagination is a high-energy musical revue featuring songs from a wide variety of Broadway Junior titles, giving performers the opportunity to sing, dance, and act across multiple styles and stories. Designed especially for young performers, the show offers flexible ensemble opportunities and highlights teamwork, creativity, and joyful storytelling.
From the very first day, students experience what it’s like to be part of an actual musical theatre production. Throughout the program, participants build confidence and develop skills in acting, singing, and movement while learning how a show comes together in a supportive, encouraging environment.
The final two days of the program culminate in a live performance, where family and friends are invited to celebrate the students’ hard work and growth. As the focus of Spotlight is on performance skills and the rehearsal process, costumes and sets are intentionally minimal.
