Musical Theatre for Adults

Come explore the wonderful world of Broadway with us! In Musical Theatre for Adults, students will work together through rehearsing musical theatre excerpts for a final showcase performance. This course introduces students to learning and performing choreography and vocal music as well as the basics of acting in a fun and supportive environment. As a bonus, students will learn skills that build confidence and coordination that can be transferred to everyday life!

Over the 8-week course, students will work with their instructors on a cabaret performance, which typically consists of 2-3 musical theatre numbers from a variety of composers and musical theatre genres. This will be performed for an audience on the Monday following the final class.

PERFORMANCE:

Monday, March 8 @ 8:15pm

This course includes a final performance on the Monday following the final class for a small audience of friends and family that may include scenes, solos, duets, and/or ensemble numbers. This will be performed along with the Musical Theatre for Teens program.
