Musical Theatre for Teens

Come explore the wonderful world of Broadway with us! In Musical Theatre for Teens, students will learn fundamental skills in singing, dancing, and acting, through rehearsing musical theatre excerpts for a final showcase performance. This course introduces students to learning and performing choreography and vocal music as well as the basics of acting in a fun and supportive environment. As a bonus, students will learn skills that build confidence and coordination that can be transferred to everyday life!

Over the 8-week course, students will work with their instructors on a cabaret performance, which typically consists of 2-3 musical theatre numbers from a variety of composers and musical theatre genres. This will be performed for an audience on the Monday following the final class.

Monday, March 8 @ 8:15pm

The Monday after the final class will be a performance for an audience of friends and family that may include scenes, solos, duets, and/or ensemble numbers. This will be performed along with the Musical Theatre for Adults program. The full program typically runs 45min.
