THE LITTLE MERMAID- Spotlight for Teens

The Spotlight program is a musical preparation course that fully immerses students in the process of putting on a musical—from auditions and rehearsals to a live performance. Participants experience what it truly means to be part of a real musical theatre production while building skills, confidence, and ensemble awareness. This season, students will dive under the sea with Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID.

Journey into the vibrant world of The Little Mermaid, where curiosity, courage, and finding your voice take centre stage. In this exciting musical theatre program, students will sing, dance, and act their way through a beloved story filled with unforgettable characters, high-energy numbers, and heartfelt moments. From bold character work to dynamic choreography and expressive storytelling, this program is perfect for performers eager to explore a rich, imaginative musical world.

Taught by working professional actors, singers, and dancers, students receive hands-on training in the core disciplines of musical theatre—acting, vocal performance, and movement—while learning the expectations of a professional rehearsal process. As the Spotlight program prioritizes skill development and ensemble growth, costumes and sets are intentionally minimal, allowing students to focus on technique, storytelling, and performance craft.

This is a joyful, challenging, and immersive experience for young performers ready to make a splash and step into the spotlight.

Dress Rehearsal - May 29 @ 9am to 1pm 

Performance - June 5 @ 10:30am, students are called at 9am
